CenturyLink Security by McAfee is available to all CenturyLink High-Speed Internet customers for protection against malware, viruses, unsafe web sites, and other online threats.

Cómo descargar e instalar McAfee

The recommended way to install and activate McAfee Security is to follow the steps below on the device you want to protect.

Note: You must be signed into your CenturyLink account in order to download McAfee.

Download McAfee from My CenturyLink

Ingresa a My CenturyLink from the device on which you want to install McAfee.
Go to the Services page, scroll down, and click on the Download McAfee button. Se abre el sitio de McAfee en una nueva pestaña o ventana del navegador. You must have pop-up blockers disabled for this step. You’ll see two options on the McAfee page: "Download" or “Send Link.”
Click the Download button on the McAfee page, as shown in the screenshot below, and follow the instructions to install the program on your device. Se descargará el programa y el código de activación en un solo paso.
Open the downloaded file from your device's "downloads" folder to complete the installation. Just follow the prompts on your device as you do this.

The following two options are alternate ways to install McAfee.

Si ya descargaste la aplicación McAfee Security directamente de tu tienda de aplicaciones (Google Play o Apple App Store), puedes obtener el código de activación de My CenturyLink.
Ingresa a My CenturyLink from the device on which you want to install McAfee.
Go to the Services page, scroll down, and click on the "Download McAfee" button. Se abre el sitio de McAfee en una nueva pestaña o ventana del navegador. También tienes la opción de enviar un enlace a otro dispositivo para que se instale la aplicación (por ejemplo, otro miembro de la familia que no tiene la información de inicio de sesión de tu cuenta CenturyLink):

Sign in to My CenturyLink and click on the Download McAfee Security button from the "Services" page.
Elegir Send Link (Enviar Enlace) e ingresar la dirección de email que deseas para que se envíe la descarga.
* Para tener una mejor experiencia, te recomendamos que ejecutes los siguientes dos pasos desde el dispositivo en el que deseas que se instale el programa:
Abrir el email de CenturyLink que tiene el asunto "CenturyLink Security by McAfee download" (Descarga de CenturyLink Security de McAfee) y haz clic en el botón Protect Me (Protegerme) para el dispositivo móvil o para el dispositivo con sistemas Windows y Mac (las dos opciones se abren en la misma página).
Se abre una nueva página con pestañas para PC, dispositivo móvil o Mac. Elige el dispositivo en el que deseas que se descargue la aplicación y haz clic en el botón Download (Descargar). Si ya descargaste la aplicación McAfee Security directamente de tu tienda de aplicaciones (Google Play o Apple App Store), puedes obtener el código de activación de My CenturyLink.
